Emily A. Blackburn, 22, born May 25, 1988 in Humble, Texas entered into eternal rest after a fatal car accident in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 12, 2010. Emily was a Senior at UTSA where she transferred from Oklahoma State on a Scholarship. She loved life, softball, her many friends and her dog Koda. Left to cherish her memories: parents: Jeff and Penny Blackburn; sister, Amy N. Blackburn; niece, Kylie Shaddix; grandparents: Judy Taylor, Russell and Sally Edwards; 6 uncles; 3 aunts and 10 cousins. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2010 from 4-8PM. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 3PM. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park. A reception will follow immediately after at Kingwood United Methodist Church, 1799 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339.
