Elizabeth Lynda Sosa

Elizabeth Lynda Sosa, 57, went to be with the LORD on December 16, 2016 at her home in Houston, Texas. Elizabeth graduated from the Houston Technical Institute on June 4, 1977. She had many skills and trades, ROTC, Royal Knights Drill Team, secretarial skills. She received several certificates and wards. She was employed by St. Luke's Hospital for 35 years starting as a nurse and the became a medical biller and coder until September 2016.

Elizabeth enjoyed life, a giver by heart. She always had a smile on her face no matter how felt and was very easy to talk with. she enjoyed sharing information about heart stents and new ways things were changing. She spending time with her daughter, Heather Rodriguez and her granddaughters, Jayden Elizabeth and Mariah Lina. Elizabeth would take her dad, Juan Sosa, to Subway Sandwich or Chick Fila almost every day and made sure he had something t snack on the following day. She loved the sun, to be out walking or just enjoying the warmth of it. She also enjoyed exercising and staying fit. Elizabeth lived for her family, job and all those she could help. Her smile, her laughter, her sweet spirit will always be in our hearts.

Those that are gone before her, Her son, Joel Lewis Carrera; her mother, Nicolasa P. Sosa; her brother, Robert Perez and her sisters' Lupe Parra and Nicolas Burger.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Rodriguez; her granddaughters, Mariah Lina Carrera and Jayden Elizabeth Rodriguez; her father, Juan E. Sosa; her sisters, Mary Ann Maldonado, Juanita Sosa Thomas and husband Richard, Francis Mosqueda and husband Raoul, Yolanda Garcia and Rose Harris. In addition to her loving family she leaves behind many friends from St. Luke's Hospital that were family to her.

Advantage Howard Glendale Chapel will host a visitation with family and friends on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. A graveside service will be determined at a later date. Thank you for your attendance and all your heartfelt prayers.
