Elda M. Cejka

Elda Cejka of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on July 23, 2014 surrounded by her family. Elda was born in Monterrey, Mexico to Joe and Mary Montemayor and spent her childhood in Galveston, Texas. Elda attended HS and then Business College in Houston, Texas. Elda married Abdon Stanley Cejka from Hallettsville Texas and raised three children. Elda worked at the O’Quinn Law Firm and was blessed to have many friends at the firm. Elda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and treasured her time spent with her grandchildren. She and her beloved husband Abdon cheered on their grandchildren at school and sport events. Elda was beautiful, kind, intelligent, compassionate and full of love for her family and friends. Elda is survived by her husband of 50 years Abdon Stanley Cejka of Houston, Texas, daughter Linda Cejka of Houston, Texas, daughter Nell Warrender and husband Jonathan Warrender and grandchildren Jordan Warrender, Justin Warrender and Jarod Warrender, son Stan Cejka and wife Cyndie Cejka and grandchildren Ashley Cejka and Angela Cejka, sister Nell Auchter and husband Bernie Auchter as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.We will always remember Elda as a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and rejoice in the knowledge that Elda is at peace.
