Edward Allen Russell left this world to be with the Lord on May 11, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Bond, his stepfather Robert Bond, and his brother Calvin Russell. He was born in Houston on April 2, 1945 and served in the Army and Air Force Reserves. He received a BBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Ed's next passion was his 42 year career with Houston Lighting and Power/CenterPoint. He considered it his calling to help get the lights on for the people. He never stopped missing linework and treasured all the friendships he made over the years.
He also enjoyed deer hunting in Leon County and fishing with family and friends at his cabin on the north end of the Landcut in the Laguna Madre.
Edward is survived by his wife of 52 years Vivian, his son Mark Russell and wife Barbara, daughter Sara Peters and husband Matt, and grandchildren Sadie Durham, Vaughn Russell, Ava Russell, and Hailey Russell. He is also survived by his half-brother Jerry Russell, nephews David Russell and Steve Russell, and many loving cousins.
