Edna B. Bowman

She is survived by her sons, George M. Bowman, Jr. and wife, Linda; James D. Bowman and wife Betty; Dr. Henry B. Bowman and wife, Susan; daughter, Mary Ann Glasscock and husband, Rev. Roy Glasscock; sister, Mrs. Sarah Lemon, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bowman was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and was a joyful blessing to everyone in her life.

Funeral services will be held at The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Roy Glasscock officiating. Pallbearers will be her sons, George, Jim and Dr. Henry Bowman, her great-grandson and his father, Mason and Nathan Johnson, and her nephew, Chad Phillips and honorary pallbearer Bill Rush. Internment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to KHCB Radio Network, 2424 South Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77098 – 5196.
