Edmond Z. Tarnowski

Edmond was born in Chappell Hill, Texas on October 31, 1918 to Albert and Anna Tarnowski. He was married to Mary Swierkowski on September 25, 1940. His is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Tarnowski, brothers; Paul Tarnowski, Martin Tarnowski, Steve Tarnowski, Henry Tarnowski, and Alex Tarnowski, sisters; Helen Reisner, Pearlie Malinowski, and Margaret Malinowski, Edmond is survived by his sons; Albin Tarnowski and his wife Charlene, Joe Tarnowski and his wife Becky and daughter, Dolores Behrens and her husband Gary, grandchildren; Karen Love, Kevin Tarnowski, Chris Behrens, Kenneth Tarnowski, Craig Behrens and Kelly Rektorik, Great-Grandchildren; Meagan Behrens, Tyler Tarnowski, Tara Tarnowski, Cehlsey Behrens, Hailey Behrens, Cayden Behrens, Kaitlyn Rektorik, Corbin Behrens, Skylar Tarnowski, Kamryn Tarnowski and Cadence Rektorik. Pallbearers; Kevin Tarnowski, Chris Behrens, Kenneth Tarnowski, Craig Behrens, Kirk Love and Chad Rektorik, Honorary Pallbearers; Tyler Tarnowski and Corbin Behrens. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Houston. He worked hard in the cotton fields in his early days. After getting married, he decided to move to Houston. He worked for Smith Industries for over 40 years. His life was God and family. A few days before his death, his words were “I want to go Home. I hope I did good here.” A rosary will be recited Thursday, February 21, 2019, 7PM at the Heights Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, February 22, 2019, 10AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1PM at Calvary Cemetery in Brenham, Texas.
