Eddie Serk-Lum Ng

Eddie Ng was born in Toi-Shan, China on 03/23/1951. Eddie and his mother emigrated to Hong Kong in 1957. His father remained in the Philippines to work. Eddie spent his childhood and adolescence in Hong Kong until he graduated from high school in 1970. While Eddie was in Hong Kong, he enjoyed playing soccer and mountain climbing.

In 1970, Eddie moved to the United States for further study. He met Joyce during his sophomore year in college, and they were married in 1975. Eddie graduated from the University of Houston in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and started his career as a pharmacist at Hermann Hospital. In 1978, Dennis, their first child was born. Their daughter, Stephanie, was born in 1983, and in 1985, their third child Anthony, was born.

After working at Hermann Hospital for 24 years, Eddie finally pursued his dream to become an entrepreneur and started his own pharmacy business in 2001. In his leisure time, Eddie enjoyed fishing, playing golf and loved spending time with his family.

In 2009, Eddie was diagnosed with liver cancer. Although the battle was tough, he still managed to live a decent and normal life until his final days. Eddie was baptized two weeks ago on 2/19/2013 and joined the Lord on 02/28/2013.

He will be dearly missed.
