Earline Jewell (Willborg) North was born in Houston, Texas on Thursday, September 9, 1920, to parents Earl C. and Fatame A. (Wirt) Willborg. She passed away in Houston on Friday, January 19, 2018, at the age of 97.
Earline was a longtime, active member of Fairbanks United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She also was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #151.
Earline was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Wayne North and a brother, Wesley Willborg. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lanier and husband, Tom, son, G.W. North, daughter, Rosalyn Akers and husband, Jerry; grandchildren: Carrie Lanier, Lane Lanier and wife Kimberly, Elissa Vogelpohl and husband James, Lindsay Tomte and husband Ray, Allen North and wife Tammy, Brian North, Matthew Akers and fiancée Martha Ramirez. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Kyra and Conner Huddleston, Korbin and Kylar North, Carson and Wyatt Vogelpohl, Emma and Ellie Lanier; sister, Dolores Hoelscher; brother, Glyn Willborg and wife Rosemary, as well as many other family members.
Visitation with the family was on Tuesday, January 23, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services began at 2:00 p.m.
A graveside service and interment followed at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine, also in Houston.
