Dorothy B. Curlee passed away March 25, 2012 in a Houston hospital at the age of 94. She was born March 26, 1917 in Eros, Louisiana. Dorothy moved to Houston in the early 1950's and was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She worked as a secretary for Lakeside Country Club and River Oaks Country Club.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Breard and Lucile O'Neil Breard and husband, Warren Curlee. She is survived by her two daughters, Tomma and her husband, Jim Carola and Linda Curlee; 2 grandsons, Scott and his wife, Paige Kahler and James and his wife Kelley Kahler; and 1 great grandson, Sam Kahler and 2 great granddaughters, Sarah and Ava Kahler.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joe Doran officiating. Interment to follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a reception at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home immediately following the graveside service.
