Dora was a very fun, loving person. She had her door open to just about anyone, it was the kind of person she was. She was very hospitable and not one person that stepped foot into her home would leave with an empty stomach. When the big holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving came around, she would start celebrating a month in advance. It was always a great way to spend time with family and feed them. Dora loved her family and cooking for them was a big way of showing it. Doras' family always compared her cooking to her grandmother Guadalupe Sanchez as neither of them ever used measurements, yet their food still came out amazing. From the start, Doras' faith in the lord was strong. Although there are not enough words that can fully describe the extent of who Dora was; she loved life, she was a loving person and she cared for her family very deeply. Dora leaves behind many memories and loved ones, she will be missed.
Dora is survived by her spouse, Samuel Torres; her son Stephen Torres; her sisters Mary J. Martinez, Helen Cortez and Deloris Martinez; her grandson Jacob Torres and her granddaughter Melody Torres.
Dora was preceded in death by her son Joel Salazar; her father Pedro A. Martinez and her mother Dora Sanchez; and her brothers Raymond Martinez, Pedro Martinez Jr. and David Martinez.
