I was so saddened to hear of Diane's passing.  I hadn't seen her for years, and then, four years ago, she came to a family birthday/reunion for our Uncle Louis.  She walked up to me and asked me if I remembered her.  I said,'How could I forget you?'  We had so many great times at our grandparents' house.  I was a bit younger so I imagined our antics probably weren't what she was into, but she was always so nice and never 'You guys are silly' to any of us.  I know I haven't gotten to know her like her family and friends, but the one note in this guest book, I think, really shows how she left an impression was from the family who knew her in the 70's in New Jersey.  To have written to the family, forty years later, in such a nice tribute, attests to how great a person Diane was.  My deepest sympathy, Marisa DiFalco, Diane's first cousin in New Jersey.

Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Diane was such a beautiful person. She radiated with joy and energy. She made everyone around her feel special. We hold her in our hearts and her family in our thoughts and prayers.

Still haven't come to terms with this, even though I saw how her body deteriorated and eventually failed her - much sooner than we all imagined.  I want to call her now to help me with the right words.  Can't believe all we have left of Mom are pictures, stories, recipes, and memories.  That is all right, though. As I sit here amongst some of the most beautiful flower arrangements I've ever seen it hits me how many lives Diane touched. Her dogs still look expectantly, not quite comprehending why Diane isn't coming back.  It is so sad to know that Diane won't be there for her grandchildren's big occasions. She will though, always be remembered - her spirit has infected her whole family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Diane's death and hope that the family can find comfort in knowing how much she meant to so many people in this community.  Her presence will be greatly missed but she will never be forgotten.

I was very sorry to hear of Diane's passing.  What a vibrant and lovely wife and mother she has been.  A Celebration of Life is such an honor to her; she was such a cornerstone to the loving circle of family and friends.

To the Baier family, You have lost a wife, mother and Grandmother, to me a dear friend. Having Diane as a boss made coming to work a joy. It was non stop laughs. Especially the inside jokes about living in Jersey, and the endless hours making corsages and sharing dog stories. Dear Richard, Kristen, Carrie, and Andrea,
   My dad "Uncle Al" called me yesterday with the news on Diane's passing. I was deeply saddened to hear she was gone, but in the same vein happy to know she is with Jesus. I was thinking Richard about the day you two got married...the party at your house in NJ after Kristin was born, just to name a few. These were such happy times. I remembered when Diane and Rita would treat me as if I was their kid sister when I was very little and how very special they both made me feel. All of the wonderful memories..even though it has been around 32 years, I will never forget her beautiful spirit, and that beautiful face. I will miss her smile. May our God give you His peace that surpasses all understanding,the comfort that is needed at this time, and the perseverance to continue in her stead. Girls you were all little ones the last time I saw you and have grown into beautiful young women! Carry on her legacy, and may the memories comfort you all. Diane was truly a Proverbs 31 woman.

To the whole Baier family, I'm so sorry for the loss of Diane.  Words are just so inadequate in times like this.  She was such a sweet and kind lady who did always have a smile on her face. I enjoyed working for her all these years.  I especially liked our dog conversations.  She was such a help when I got Eddie. I will be praying for peace and comfort for you all.
