Dennis Anthony Dawkins

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sandra Dawkins, and his brother, Roy Dawkins.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kimberly Dawkins, and his sons and daughters-in-law, David & Brittannie Dawkins, Derek & Jenny Dawkins. He was also cherished by his step-sons, Kasey McDonald and Ricky Summers, Kory Eden, Joseph and Shannon McDonald. Dennis will also be deeply missed by his brother, Bill Dawkins, and his granddaughter, Sadie Dawkins.

Dennis attended Ellet High School in Akron, Ohio. He made his home in Porter, Texas where he had many friends and family. He dedicated his career to S.D. Myers, where he made many lasting friendships. Dennis Dawkins brought joy and love to the lives of those around him. He will be remembered for his kindness and his dedication to his family.

Serving as pallbearers are David Dawkins, Derek Dawkins, Bill Dawkins, Kasey McDonald, Ricardo Summers, and Joseph McDonald.

A visitation for Dennis will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Monday, August 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
