Delia Ortiz born on October 2, 1954 to Lawrence and Nora Ortiz, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on October 30, 2023. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cherished friend, and a kind-hearted soul. Mom’s warm smile and gentle nature touched the lives of everyone she met. Her legacy will be remembered for her unwavering love, compassion, and the countless happy memories she created. Mom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Delia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Lawrence Ortiz, Jr. and sister Hermelinda Beres.
She will be lovely remembered by her children Lisa Gail (Ramon) and Raymond and grandchildren, Lawrence, Lorenzo (Jonah), Suzanna and Alex, great grandchildren, Isaiah, Lorenzo, Jr., Mila Grace, Gabriel and Raya Jade and her brothers Ralph (Ninfa), Frank and sisters Irene, Susie (Robert).
We will receive family and friends on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Crespo Funeral Home-Navigation Chapel. A Rosary service will occur Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will occur Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 11:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. The committal service will occur from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
