Darrell was born September 22, 1959 in Houston, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather (known as Pappy) and a good friend to many more. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lynette Chaney; his son Johnny and wife Brandi and his youngest son Kevin; grandchildren Blake and Major. Also surviving siblings are Theresa, Audrey and David. He loved playing with his grandkids, fishing, hunting, and football, football, and more football.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 and a celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am, on Thursday, June 7, 2018 with refreshments to follow at Brookside Funeral Home – Champions.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to America Cancer Society.
