Dallas Dean Renton ( Dolly) was born in Portage, Wisconsin. She was raised in Houston when her parents, Marquis and Jessie Louella Snyder, relocated. Dolly was one of 11 children. She was a tomboy at heart, often getting in trouble for staining her clothes climbing a Mulberry tree. She had many adventures as a child and survived an electrocution, pneumonia (when there was no penicillin to treat such a deadly disease) resulting in a coma and having to learn to walk again. Dolly was a survivor. She survived breast cancer (37 years) and fought her biggest battle - Juvenile Diabetes. She is a 54 year survivor.
Dolly was a wife and homemaker. She loved people, her family, dancing and was a Christian who especially loved her church and church family.
She is preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Gail Le Fleur, her parents and all but two of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Larry Renton, daughter Sherry Koudelka and son-in-law Bernard; grandchildren, Lauren Rod, Kelly Koudeka-Clark, husband, Shane Clark, Shane Wilcox, Shannon Wilcox; and great-grand children, Alexia Rod, Andrew Rod, Brynn Clark, Brylee Clark and Myah Wilcox; brother, Billy Hessong, wife Carol and sister Patsy Dunn and numerous nieces, nephews. A special acknowledgment to her niece, Vickie Kelley, who thought of her more as a second mother than an aunt.
Dolly, Mom, Nana, Grandma, Gigi, Dal, you have earned your rest in Heaven. You will be missed every day.
If you wish you may donate to the Holy Comforter Building Fund in lieu of flowers. Dolly loved our church and would have been so happy to be remembered this way.
