Coy A Wright

Coy was born on January 10, 1945 in Oxford, AL to parents, David A. Wright and Myrtle L. Wright.

Coy lived a simple life and he took pleasure in dedicating his life to his grandchildren as well spending time in the great outdoors.

Coy was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Betty Jones and Catherine E. “Boots” Conner as well as brother, Roy Wright.

Coy is lovingly survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte Die Wright and daughter Charman Wright-McDonald and son-in-law, Gerald, son Gregg Wright and fiancée Michelle, son, David Wright and wife Kristin Wright as well as surviving siblings, Wanda Cox, Annie McCurry and brother, Bobby T. Wright.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Blayne and wife Olivia who is expecting a baby girl, “great-granddaughter to be”, Autumn and Brennen McDonald, Bryant, Parker and Allie Mae Wright, Olivia Wright and Madison Crow.

Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends have been touched by Coy’s generous caring spirit. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Forest Park Lawndale Chapel of Angels from 11: 00 AM – 12:00 PM with Funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM.
