Cindy Ping Fong Chao

children. From the time she was little, Cindy loved all animals, but especially dogs. She had

such a special connection with any dog she ever met.

After graduating from Angelo State University, Cindy moved to Houston to pursue a career in

retail management. She tackled every task with passion and enthusiasm. She inspired others

with her attitude and hard work. Her aspirations in life were to keep everyone around her happy,

keep her dogs content, travel the world and watch as many Korean Dramas as possible.

Cindy left us in the evening hours of Tuesday, May 21st after a short but brave battle with

cancer. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephew in Hong Kong. And in Houston, she is

survived by her best friend May Lau, Edward Chan, and their two children Isabel and Calvin.

She helped raise those children and left an indelible impression on their lives. They were

blessed to have two mothers, but have now lost one.

She is also survived by her most precious companions DouDou, Bobo, and JunJun. She can

rest assured that all her dogs will be taken in and cared for as she would have cared for them.

Her love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
