Even his name suggests a special "uniqueness!" It is a combination of CHRIST, and the first syllable of his mother's name ...Tonya. His middle name (which means heritage or life)embodies the spirits of his deceased grandfather, Rev. Charlie Daniel Dixon and LEON Bozeman, Sr. The paths of Tanya Shari-Antuanette Dixon and Max Henry Bozeman connected during the 1980's and the two were united as one. They were used as chosen vessels to usher CHRIS into the earth realm on December 25, 1987 and the family has never been the same! From infancy to childhood to adolescence to young adulthood, CHRIS exhibited unusual creativity and possessed an ingenious mind and skills that he felt had no limitations. He was born into a Church-centered family on both sides, so salvation and baptism soon followed; no questions asked. God positioned him to experience all facets of church life up close and personal. Early childhood development was fostered at home, church, and as the first student of Northwest Community Day Care, (now Dominion Preparatory School/Child Development Center) and All About Kids; lovingly and directed by Mom and capably managed by Dad. Public schooling followed, first at Wesley Elementary School and followed by deposits from every public school within the north sector of the district. Cultivating and educating a mind with such overwhelming creativity was indeed a challenge. For a time, he was home-schooled by his mother, his friend and partner, further strengthening their special bond and allowing him to spread his creative wings even more. While he was being taught, he was also instrumental in assisting with younger kids in care. It was amazing to observe him garnering the attention and interest of an entire group of kids in positive and productive settings. Chris graduated with honors, 3.7 GPA from Marque Learning Center and attended Houston Community College and Lone Star College. In case you didn't know it, Chris was a businessman and his first "on the job injury" was the result of a lesson instilled by his Dad: 'If a task you've once begun, never leave it until it's done; be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all." Therefore, at the age of 9, while caring for his great-grandfather's yard {Titus Barnes) he decided to trim the hedges with an electric chain saw and almost cut his thumb off. He "calmly" went to his Dad, as if nothing was really wrong, to announce what happened. He also showed interest in the media & video graphic field, as well as events/promotional services. Chris made the rounds; meaning he charmed and warmed the hearts of babies, seniors, and all ages in between.
