Mrs. Yu was a school teacher until she met her husband, Chin-Ching Yu. After she was married, she was very diligent and frugal. Our father liked to eat northern food and my mom learned hard, such as buns, dumplings, and flatbread, etc. After I the middle of the night, we always saw my mom preparing dough for next day. One year, my father broke his leg because his work, and father laid in the bed for one year. My mom did not have any complain, she still worked hard to take care of her husband. Then, she worked as a bookkeeper for a hospital until she followed her husband to the United States. She enjoyed her retired life with her husband. Unfortunately, she got breast cancer in 2004 and Lymphoma in 2010, installed pacemaker in 2018. She’s a survivor and a fighter. She also was a kind and loving mother. She was a good friend to many.
Mrs. Yu is survived by her son, Benjamin Yu, daughter in law, I-Hui Chang, and daughter, Jennifer Reynolds. May God let her rest in peace with her husband.
