Cheryl Ann Thompson of Spring, Texas went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 5, 2016. She was born September 7, 1954 in Houston, Texas to parents Jimmie Joe Helmer and Martha Charlene Paratorius Helmer. Cheryl was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters: Christy Thompson, Samantha Perry and Angela Black; grandchildren: Paris Perry, Austin Thompson, Dylan Thompson and Connor Black; her cat Baby Girl; mother Martha Charlene Paratorius Helmer; sister Gloria Leubner; brother Joseph Kyle Helmer and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Cheryl is preceded in death by her father Jimmie Joe Helmer and brother Jimmie Russell Helmer.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home.
