I knew Chuck from Ladco design center, He was a really nice guy and would talk to me about his family and of course his dog Ringo.  I specifically recall his talking about one of his nephews to me.

 I was very sad to learn of his passing today.  I moved to Arizona four years ago and I’m no longer in the design business.

My condolences to his family.  

Chuck was the guy that helped me readjust to life after my divorce. We worked together for several years and went fishing from time to time. What a wonderful man. Very proud to call him friend. Love you Chuck.

I am heartbroken to lose such a very dear, close friend. We were SO close, shared just about every thought and often read each others minds. (If you know Chuck, that can be a scary thought!) We laughed, we complained, we worked together, lunched together, he came over for occasional dinners and parties. I was so proud to introduce him to my family and friends, he was like a part of me. Certainly, he was and will be a BIG part of my heart forever. He was one of my best friends and I know that I was one of his best friends. I would drive him to doctor's appointments when needed and he cared and  worried about me if we went a few days without a call, although we constantly checked in with each other. I miss you, Chuck! Please continue to watch over me like you did when you were here. I can't believe that I just wrote those words 'when you were here'. You will always be here with me! I am sickened by this loss! Chuck had so many qualities that were endearing, his professionalism, his quick wit, his attention to detail and his friendship  were some of the ones that made him an ideal colleague!  I know the wonderful people at Ladco are feeling a great loss and I know the design community is missing his helping hand!

Dear Andrus family,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Chuck’s sudden passing. My heart goes out to you. 

I’ve know Chuck for years through Ladco and before that when he worked for my aunt at Alyson Jon Interiors. He was  so friendly and helpful. I will always remember sitting with him at his desk and studying the family photos tacked to his  bulletin board. Hearing about family gatherings or how he looked forward to spending time with his brother. 

Whenever I’d bring  in a new client they usually connected with him because he would remember selling shoes to their children at The Village Shoe Store. I don’t think he ever forgot a face!

At the end of our business he would escort me out though the warehouse.  He hold the door and wish me well. I will miss him. 

I pray that you will find the peace which passes all understanding as you come to terms with your loss.

My dearest Chuck, I already feel such a void and will miss your 'love you's' and 'there's my SusieQ'.  I worked with you for nearly 20 years and you made my job as a designer so much easier, always breaking up the work with stories of your life when you were younger, family, your baby Ringo and many many jokes.  It was such a pleasure knowing you and I will treasure all of our time together,  not only as my sales associate, but as great friends. Rest In Peace, sweet man. 
  

I am saddened to hear this.  I enjoyed working with Chuck for many years when visiting LADCO.  We did several fun and diverse projects together.  I remember after discovering we both spoke Italian, we made a point to "chiacchierare" (chat) and even send the occasional email in "italiano".





I am heart broken to hear the news about Chuck.  I've worked with Chuck for many years, even his years before Ladco.  He was always such a joy to see.  I remember Chuck always had funny jokes for me and always went the extra mile to help me in any way.  Chuck was a good friend.  He will be greatly missed!

My heart is broken over the loss of this amazing man! I worked with Chuck for many years (with my design clients) and we had many good laughs together! He was always so proud to share pictures of his nieces and nephews and his dog. I will miss him dearly and was blessed to know him. 

I am so sad to hear of Chuck's passing.  I remember meeting Chuck when he worked at Leisure Collection with Raul.  He was always nice and fun to talk to.  We later became closer friends when we worked together at another showroom.  He will always be missed and loved by those that knew him and enjoyed his laughter and friendship.  Rest in peace.

Chuck will be dearly missed. He would always be in the best mood, highly professional, courteous and knowledgeable about all products and always ready to help both the designer and my customers. He will be greatly missed! I worked with him for most of his employment with Ladco, except for the last 10 years, since I now reside in Florida. Chuck was a very valuable asset to the Ladco family!

Oh Chuck, it wasn’t time yet. I’m missing you already, the one who has worked as my Ladco rep for 20 years. You nicknamed me Lola, said we were the coolest ‘56 models...and always shared stories of your ‘back East’ escapades. Laughing and loving us all through it all. Keep storytelling in Heaven!

I am truly heartbroken. Chuck was a wonderful friend for many years and always proudly shared pictures of his family. He was a joy to work with and took such good care of all his clients. We had many laughs together through the years. Chuck will be forever missed by me and all those whose lives were blessed by him. Praying for all his loved ones! ❤️🙏

Professionally Chuck  was top notch, very bright and skilled. Personally he was a riot of a friend and always made my visits to Houston so much more fun. He will be greatly missed.

I started working with Chuck in July, he immediately made me feel welcome and we became friends so easily. He was always in a positive spirit, would say that he loved you and you could hear his joyful laugh from across the room. He was one of my favorite people to talk with and share stories. I know that all his family, clients, and friends meant a lot to him as well as the other way around. We will miss you Chuck.

Chuck and I worked together for many years at Ladco.  He knew the products so well and was efficient in helping me with orders---but even better was that we laughed and joked and shared our thoughts along with way.   I will miss him so very much.

I first met Chuck while he was lounging on the pool deck soaking up the rays. We immediately became friends and would enjoy chatting around the pool. Over the years he became part of my pool family. He was always so kind, light-hearted, and joyful. He will truly be missed. 

Chuck's sense of humor and zest for life are a large part of my high school memories.  He had continued to make me laugh when we reconnected through facebook.  I always looked forward to his posts!  I know I am not alone in expressing my shock and grief at the news of his passing.  Chuck, you will be greatly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family


ALthough I never met Chuck, I knew his wonderful mom and dad, and am very fond of his older sister, Vickie.  My deceased parents, Dale and Evelyn Hamilton, were also good friends of Jim and Betty while they all lived in South Carolina.  I send my deepest condolences to all the remaining family.  Hold tight to the many wonderful memories you have of Chuck.  May he remain in your hearts forever.

Although I hadn't seen Chuck for many years, I remember the good times we shared with friends.  His knowledge of the natural world was amazing.  He was a good man, fun, smart, and sensitive to others.  

Uncle Chuck was my Godfather.  He stayed in touch, even though we were separated by 1000 miles.  His insights were light, comedic and real.  I always appreciated his perspective and his love.

Condolences to all family and friends.  Each person's passing diminishes the world but you can take solace in the fond memories.  Those we remember are never truly gone.

Chuck was one of my classmates at Lock Haven High School.  Fond memories of a good friend from so many years ago.  We were a close knit group in the Class of 74 and there will be a hole in our hearts as we gather and remember  our friend Chuck at future class reunions.  I am praying for your family. May God be with you at this difficult time.

Chuck will always be remembered as a living cousin and good friend to everyone who knew him.  Sorry we don't live closer so we could be there with you.  Love to all of you.
