Charles Anderson

Charles Anderson, age 87, passed away in Houston, TX on November 5, 2013. Charles was born on October 15, 1926 in Lebanon, Missouri to Otto and Edna Anderson. Charles was a proud World War II veteran in the United States Army. He attended the University of Houston, and was later married to his loving wife, Lois Rankin, in 1959. In his career, Charles continued on to form Anderson Refrigeration, who served major clients such as Blue Bell Creamery.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Edna Anderson; brothers, Glen, Lynn, Harold, Ralph, and Lewis; and sisters, Louise and Mildred. He is survived by his sister Betty Stephenson; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Henry Roth; grandchildren and spouses, Rene and Aron Omessi, Jay and Roxanne Roth, and David and Claudia Roth; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Callie, and Riley Roth, and Alex and Ethan Omessi. Charles is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, with burial immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
