We are sad to announce Carrie Marie Bergeron (neé Knight), aged 90, passed peacefully on December 27, 2021.
Carrie was a Texan her whole life. Carrie was born on November 15, 1931 in Chapel Hill,Texas where she was Valedictorian of her high school class. After high school, Carrie moved to Houston and met Frank Bergeron. The two fell in love and were married for over 50 years prior to Frank’s passing. Carrie and Frank’s favorite past times was rock and mineral collecting. Carrie and Frank had two children: William Frank Bergeron Jr. and Douglas Edward Bergeron. Being a mother was a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mom, supportive, kind, caring, and we will miss her dearly. Carrie was preceded in death by her late husband, Frank. She is survived by her two sons and three loving granddaughters.
Although we are not having a public funeral ceremony, family and friends can light a candle as a loving gesture or a donation to Depelchin Faith Home where both Bill and Doug were adopted.
