Carolina was a loving grandmother since 2017, mother since 1985, and wife since 1984. She was a United States Postal Service employee for over 36 years. Although her most recent and cherished title was “Gigi”.
Carolina is survived by her loving husband, two sons, daughter in law, two granddaughters, four sisters, and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister and two brothers.
Carolina was a very giving person. She was always the best mother, and wife, and grandmother she could be. She struggled with many illnesses but was one of the biggest fighters you will ever know.
On August 24th, 2023 Carolina gained her wings and went to be with the lord, her parents, sister, brothers, and friends who preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed, but take solace in the fact that she is in a better place and no longer suffering from her many ailments. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.
In her passing, she was able to continue to help others in a way similar to how she was so desperate for others to help her. She was able to offer tissue that could help 2 others regain sight/vision. Some person(s) will be able to continue seeing this world through the same tissues that her beautiful green eyes saw through.
A visitation for Carolina will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
