Carol Lynn McDonald, age 71 of Houston, Texas died on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, after a long battle with metastatic ovarian cancer. She was born on October 23, 1946 in Commerce, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kay and Leon Batchelor, Jr. Carol was a strong, loving, kind, generous wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her husband and family, read a good book, sing in the church choir, take care of her garden, and play with her cocker spaniels, Libby and Mia. She is survived by her husband Jim McDonald, her daughter Kelly Kiser and spouse Eddie Kiser, her daughter Melanie Green and spouse Dre Berendsen, her step-son Paul McDonald and spouse Vanessa McDonald, and her grandchildren Noah Green, Ren Green, Max Kiser and Marley Kiser.
