Abuelo Candi,
You will be missed by many of us. I remember all those fun times at your home when we visited. There was not a single time where we wouldn't laugh or you would put a smile in our face. I truly appreciate your stories and your advice. We will always love you and keep you in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten. Dios lo tenga en su gloria abuelo.

Abuelo Candi,
Thank you for all the wonderful moments that we lived together. Loved all those times we visited your home. Thank you for all the advise you gave me and for making me a better man. I'm surely going to miss you, but you will always be remembered and present in our hearts. 

Carlos was my cousin's husband. He was a very respectful gentleman. I met him in the 80s when he went to Honduras. He and his wife visited Masca, Cortés where his mother in law was residing. His wife Ana Adelfa is my dear cousin. She and I keep an awesome relationship. The distance doesn't matter to us. I love my nephews.  God, give them strength and peace. RIP Carlos. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

My dear cousin Carlos Cándido Martinez The Lord has called you to be by his side too soon,  but you are now in a better place, no more suffering! 

(Candi), as the family usually called you- were a wonderful human being; a good father, husband, friend and always giving us advice about family values.

Cousin, I remember your good sense of humor, storytelling and enjoyed listening to your special music.    I cherished the moments I was able to spend with you chatting and remembering old times during your visit to New York in 2019.   

Cousin, you will always be in our hearts.  May you Rest In Peace.

I will never forget the time I went to Houston , Texas to Visits you and my cousins. And meeting great people in there. It was a wonderful experienced I had in there, will never forget it.  It was my pleasured being there. It was a great summer mini vacation I had in there, but it felt very magical and wonderful, it was around this exact season, the week of embracing the Fourth of July. Will not forget the barbecue plate you made for me, you were a great cook!  And I will never forget your Sincere smile and your attitude of moving forward. Against the will of God there's nothing we can do. You have suffered for a long time. June-  16- 2020, God decided, to stop your soffering and he called you to his side.You were a loving son,a good father and a wonderful person.May you rest in holy Pease, together with our parents,you all wil be in my humble heart and in my memory for ever.REST IN PEACE MY BROTHERS 😔

Dad, you were something else. Despite that, no matter how bad things got, I almost always looked forward to seeing you. Any day I got to see and hang out with my father was a good day. I'll never forget the times we would kick the ball at the park, or me raining buckets on you from downtown in the front yard playing basketball.  Your pep talks to me during my soccer games as a kid.....I took them in stride. I made sure I played my extra best when you were there.

Your advice was terrible though sir. I remember how you'd try to give us economic advice, but not really tell us anything; and when I'd ask questions on how to actually implement what you said, you'd get mad. I don't know how many times I'd fall asleep while you were trying to give me advice. You'd go on and on. Ha!

I could write novels about you, but I'll stop here. Wish you would have got to see me graduate. I know you still will, along with everyone else resting with you in paradise. Say hello to Monte and Grandma Sarah for me.

I remember during House Party 20??? Mr. Martinez coming home and kicking us all out. I hid in the RR so he didn’t yell at me. Or, the many times I would go over and he would  be sitting in the garage  on the chair or tinkering with something.  You will be missed and thank you for letting me hang out so many times at the house.
