Her first year of life was quite normal until a medical condition presented itself and the doctor’s prognosis required a big decision to support her with a tracheotomy. Her family, especially her mother Rosie advocated to give her the best care. Brianna enjoyed school, her favorite television shows, music, and getting on her wheelchair to get out of her bed. Whatever illness came her way, she fought her hardest and defied the doctors and others who thought she would not live past 2 years old.
Brianna’s strength, desire to thrive, and to be with her family for over a decade is our inspiration. She teaches us to live simply. Treasure each moment, live each day to the fullest, and love the family members and friends that truly care for you. Brianna had the beauty of a doll, with her perfect fair skin, big brown eyes, and her beautiful long brown hair. The beauty of her soul is what will remain in our hearts and in our memories. How she looked at each one of us, how she smiled, how she quietly communicated how she was feeling to us. Even when she would be upset or annoyed with us, she would roll her eyes, in a loving funny way like a teenager would.
She would love to stroll in her wheelchair every possible chance she could get. Brianna looked forward to those simple moments we take for granted. She grew her wings sooner that anyone expected and went to Heaven on May 22, 2021, as she was surrounded by family and in her Mother’s arms.
Brianna is survived by her parents, brother, and sister, grandparents Ojeda, Hernandez and Martinez, aunts, uncles, and cousins
