Brenda Gayle Steil

On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, Brenda Taylor Steil, loving wife, mother and Nana, lost her battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and passed away at the age of 66. Brenda was born on October 27, 1952 in Austin, Texas and has been a resident of Kingwood, Texas for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rick Steil, her children Brett (Erica) Steil, Keith (Jennifer) Steil, Tessa (Michael) Pajestka, Tonya (Enrique) Ramirez, Blake Steil, and her seven grandchildren, Rhea and Rex Steil, Knox Steil, Connor and Zachary Pajestka, Carmen and Brandon Ramirez, and her sister Carolyn Taylor Vaughan of Temple, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Winnie and Herbert Taylor, and her brother Gary Taylor.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 30th, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home located at 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to cjdfoundation.org which is a foundation that supports research for treatment of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD).
