Bradford Kyle Lynch

He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on the 18th of July 1963, to Joe and Marilyn Lynch. His family, including his brothers, Bryan and David moved to Houston in 1963. Brad attended Frostwood Elementary, Memorial Jr. High, and graduated from Memorial High School in 1982. As a teen, Brad was active in Young Life and Scouting, earning the rank of Eagle in Troop 642. He attended Texas Tech University and was an active member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. After five (or maybe six!) fun-filled years in Lubbock, he graduated with a degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management. He then enjoyed a successful career in banking and real estate in Houston.

Brad married Ginger Stewart in 1996 and they had three sons, Kyle, Sam and Owen. The Lynch family attended Chapelwood Methodist Church. Brad served as an active volunteer with Scout Troop 642 with his boys, and continued serving long after they achieved Eagle status.

He was a devoted husband, father, and friend, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and both water and snow skiing. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, and precious party poodle “Sister,” on his deck at Tiki Island.

This list of his favorite things would not be complete without mentioning French Dip sandwiches, Whoppers, Little Debbie’s Zebra Cakes, and Arnold Palmers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marilyn Lynch. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ginger, his sons Kyle, Sam and Owen; his brothers and their wives, Bryan and Angela, David and Christina; his niece, Laura, nephew, Cameron; aunt Joan Johnson; beloved cousins Jana, Julie and Paul; hundreds of friends; and let’s not forget Sister.

A celebration of his life is to be held at three o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 4th of January, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis and Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediately following all will be invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
