He was married to Geraldine McClaine Chance on November 22, 1952. Bobby Dell Chance served in the Marine Corp in 1945. Retired as a machinist for Cameron Iron Works after 39 years. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, bowling, and coin collecting.
He is survived by: Son -John Chance, Step Son -Mike Haire , Grandchildren -Sheila Christian, Melissa Estoll, Stacey Macias, Lisa Ibanez, Desire Nicholas & Jennifer Haire. Great Grandchildren - Cory & Dylan Christian, Caleb & Micaylah, Macias and Luke Ibanez, Christian Eli Bell & Gracie Nicholas. Great, Great Grandchildren - Emi May & Olivia Christian.
He is deceased by his wife Geri Chance & daughter Verna Faye Chance Alewine and siblings Marvin Chance & Vonnoy Chance-Huggins.
