When Nell was 6 months old the family moved to Houston, Texas where Nell graduated from M.B. Smiley High School. At the age of 27 Nell was consider retired/disable from Gordon Jewls when she had a silent heart attack on the job.
January of ‘83 Nell married her late husband Joseph “Tyon” Mouton. While battling the fact the she would never have kids on November of ‘93 Nell went in for a regular check up of a cyst just to find out she was 6 months pregnant. April 18, 1994 she welcomed her miracle child and named her LaMiracle Shanta Mouton.
On August 30, 2021 Bobbie was admitted into Northeast Medical Center in Humble,Texas and was later transferred to Northwest Medical Center in Houston, Texas where she was later called home. She fought a mighty good fight.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her father Harod Goodwin, uncle Durl Osby, husband Joseph Mouton, nephew Detrick Wilkerson and godson Adrian Neal.
Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, LaMiracle Mouton; 3 grandchildren, LaNiyah Gooden, LaZiah Gooden and Josiah Gooden. Her mother, Velma Goodwin; 3 sisters, Peggy Wilkerson, Delores Franklin and Michelle Goodwin; 3 brothers, Clifford Goodwin, Donald Neal and Edward Neal; 4 sisters in law, Kay Goodwin, Verna Neal, Shirley M. Barlow and Mary Louise Kibodeaux; 2 brothers in law, James C. Mouton and Fred Franklin and a host of family and friends.
