born in Houston, Texas on September 23, 1950 to Louise and Sterling Edwards. He entered the
plumbing profession working for Sterling Plumbing and later continued his plumbing career as a
salesperson for Morrison Supply. He was a graduate of Houston Baptist University (1981) and a
member of Kappa Alpha. He attended Houston's First Baptist Church. His legacy lives on in
those he touched personally as well as professionally and through the family he dearly loved
and who loved him.
Bob is survived by his mother, Louise Edwards; his sister Donna Smith of Crockett; his brother, Larry Edwards and wife, Cherrie of Magnolia, and longtime friend Shane Cleveland. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5 pm – 8 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
