Beverly "Bb" Thompson

1932-2015

Nurse, Mother, Artist, Grandmother, Friend.

Born on the 28th of February 1932, was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Hoyt Sheffield and by her second husband Robert Lavelle Thompson, her sons, Patric and David, and her granddaughter Nicole. She is survived by her children, Buddy, Linda, Michael, Laura and Shaun, 29 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She spent her life loving her family, her church and enjoying her life. She will be very missed.

Beverly thought that cut flowers at funerals were a waste. She also believed that flowers were for the Living and not for the dead. Everyone is encouraged to follow their hearts. In lieu of flowers, a donation to her favorite charities; Houston Public Library, Incarnate Word High School and Right to Life is welcomed.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel on Friday March 13, 2015 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary to be held at 7:00pm that evening. A funeral mass will be held at our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church on Saturday March 14th at 10:00am with interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale cemetery.
