Beverly J. Newhouse

Beverly Newhouse went home to her Lord on October 25, 2011. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on October 27, 1934. Married to Thomas Willard Newhouse, March 25, 1955, who preceded her in death two years ago.

She is survived by her children: David, his wife Joyce, their two sons, one daughter-in-law and a great-grandchild; Mike, his wife Kim, and their three daughters; Dana May, her husband Carter, and their three children; Amy White, her husband Matt, and their three children; and, Barbara, her sister, and her husband Bill Blaylock, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends by the score.

Beverly attended Abilene Christian College, where she met the love of her life, Tom. Together they built a wonderful life and blessed all who knew them. Beverly was a Godly woman who lived and taught her beliefs. While caring for her family, she was also an instructor at Houston's Barbizon School of Modeling, and then for many decades worked as a professional interior decorator through her firm called Interior Designs. Beverly will be missed, but we are happy she is out of pain and reunited with Tom.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 5th at Memorial Church of Christ, 900 Echo Lane, Houston, TX 77024. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. and services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Donations can be made in her honor to: southernafricabiblecollege.org, fightingforhearts.org or eem.org.
