Henrietta Reed and Johnnie Reed.
Bernice’s journey in life was marked by her unwavering determination and her commitment to education.
She proudly earned her GED, a testament to her dedication and perseverance.
For 35 years, Bernice served as a custodial supervisor at Fort Bend Independent School District, where
her dedication and leadership left an indelible mark. Her passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming
environment made her an invaluable asset to the school community.
Bernice’s work ethic was unmatched, as she spent an additional 15 years as a supervisor at Walmart,
where her professionalism and compassion touched the lives of colleagues and customers alike.
Bernice is survived by her two cherished children, Michael Ray Johnson and Sharon Denise Johnson,
who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She also leaves
behind her beloved siblings, Jessie Mae Sweed, Enissteen Hunt, and
Tommie Reed, who shared a special bond of love and support
throughout their lives.
Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Eric Sirreall
McCullough, Erin Rashaun McCullough, Shaundreka Lanese Martinez,
Lakeisha Johnson, Raeleshia Johnson and Willie Washington,
along with a host of other great-grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, and cherished loved ones.
Bernice Marie Oliver was not only loved by her
family but also by God, who welcomed her into
His eternal embrace. Her kindness, dedication, and
enduring love will be remembered by all who had the
privilege of knowing her.
