Barbara Jeane Pursley, was born April 9, 1920 in Greenwood County, SC discovered the Glories of Heaven on June 2, 2012. Jeane was a loving, beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. We grieve our loss, but rejoice in faith, knowing she is living eternally in joy and peace. Jeane was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Bobby; son-in-law, Gene Babb; six siblings; and most of her friends. Ginger Babb is her surviving daughter. Others include her grandchildren, their spouses, great-grandchildren, and many extended family members. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church, 25 Tidwell, Houston, TX 77022. Jeane had a passion for the poor and homeless, which reflected her spiritual gifts of service and giving. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Star of Hope, P.O.
