Baldemar Cantu Jr.

Baldemar Cantu, Jr., 78, of Houston, Texas, entered eternal rest on October 31, 2019. He was born December 9, 1940 in Pharr, Texas. Baldemar graduated from PSJA High School. He married Eva Diaz on July 13, 1962. Baldemar owned and operated a service station and lastly was a security guard at Kroger Warehouse.

Left to cherish his loving memory, loving wife of 57 years: Eva Diaz Cantu; children: Baldemar Cantu III & wife Linda, Carol Jane Cantu & husband JR Ramirez; siblings: Maria Smith, Edwardo Cantu & wife Charollet, Juan Cantu & wife Maria Ellena; sister in law, Maria Cantu grandchildren: Alyssa Renee Fernandez & husband John Hock, Ashlee Cantu; great grandchildren: Adam Cantu. And many loving family members and friends. Proceeded in death by his brother Eleasar Cantu and parents Baldemar and Guadalupe Cantu.

Visitation for family and friends will begin on Tuesday, November 5th from 3pm-8pm with an evening service beginning at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6th at 2:30pm. All services will take place at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park immediately after the funeral service. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace.
