Annie Marie Rodriguez

Annie Marie Rodriguez, 82, born June 12, 1935 in Sugar Land, Texas longtime Houston resident passed away peacefully on Sunday November 27, 2017 after a 13 day stay at Houston Hospice, we thank the staff and Drs. for their care and compassion.

She was surrounded by her 5 devoted children Barbara, Zena, Rod Jr. wife Anne, Rachel and Lawrence. Her 8 adoring grandchildren Neil and Samantha Rodriguez, Lindsey and David Medellin, Brittney, Jared, Megan, Michelle, Caroline, and Elizabeth. Three caring great grandchildren Luke and David II Medellin and Riley Rodriguez.

We are comforted in knowing Ma is reunited with our Dad Rodrigo M. Rodriguez Sr. and her parents Ignacio Vasquez and Ramona Vasquez Rodriguez stepfather Joe V. Rodriguez Sr. and brothers Louis and Jose (Joy) Vasquez. She is survived by sister Dora Amador brother Joe V. Rodriguez and wife Beverly along with many loving nieces and nephews.

We often celebrated Sunday with Mom, who taught us about love, faith in God, and the importance of family. This is our legacy which we cherish and will continue. We are at peace and blessed knowing she is reunited with our Dad.
