Anne H. Greenwell

Mrs. Anne H. Greenwell, age 88, passed away on August 9, 2020 in Teague, TX. She was born on October 25, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky and grew up the much loved only child of parents Richard and Gladys Haynes.

Anne attended the University of Louisville, which helped prepare her for a lifelong career in education. She was an amazing homemaker and schoolteacher for many years. In her teaching career, she positively touched the lives of an immeasurable number of children.

Anne was a member at Bear Creek United Methodist Church. Some of Anne's hobbies included square dancing, needlepoint, gardening and loving on her dogs.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Art Greenwell. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Cobb; sons, Brad Greenwell, Steve Greenwell and wife Deidra; and grandchildren, Dustin Greenwell, Nicole Cobb O’hallaron and husband Joe, Courtney Cobb and fiancé Eric Gomez and Antoinette (Toni) Hill and husband Bryce.

On October 26, 2020 at there will be a Memorial Service for the family to celebrate her life followed by an Interment Ceremony for Anne and her beloved husband, Art.
