Anna L Smith

Anna Lee Blakeway Smith, age 83, of Centerville Tx, passed away peacefully in her home and went to be with her Lord and Savior, on May 21, 2012. Funeral services and burial will be at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston Tx on May 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Dr Jerry I Smith, brother-in-law, will be officiating the service.

Anna was born July 17, 1928 in Kennard Texas, Houston county, to Thomas D and Mary Lou (Matchett) Blakeway. She spent most of her life in Houston Tx and was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She spent many memorable days at the family ranch in Centerville Tx where she and her husband, Bryan, permanently moved to a year ago.

Survivors are husband of 62 years, Bryan W Smith; daughters, Donna L Schlabach (Larry) of Centerville, Sandra J Mc Duffy (Michael) of San Antonio; brother, Thomas D Blakeway of Colmesneil; brother and sister -in-laws, Mildred (Tillie) Wier of Houston, Cora Starnes of Katy, Kathleen Castleberry (Robert) of Longview, Audrey Eckleman (Don) of Livingston, Jerry Smith (Joni) of Clear Lake; Grandchildren, Paul Bales of Bellville, Veta Johnston (Chris) of Beach City, Leta Carter of Beach City, Lanessa Howard (Matt) of San Antonio, Litton Schlabach of Bryan, Catherine Castillo of New Braunfels, Heather Tristan (Carlos) of San Antonio, Jonathan Castillo of New Braunfels, Dustin Mc Duffy of San Antonio; 14 great grandchildren and many close nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Michael McDuffy, Larry Schlabach, Paul Bales, Litton Schlabach, Jonathan Castillo, Dustin McDuffy.
