Anita Perez

Anita was born in Kingsville, Texas on March 08, 1949. After graduation, she spent the majority of her career working at various Houston area hospitals, to include many years at Memorial Hermann and Methodist Hospitals. Anita was also a devoted member of the Alief Christian Center for nearly twenty years, where she also served as treasurer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Modesto and Antonia Pena and her sister Marie Tamayo.

She is survived by her three sons, David Silva and wife Don’Angelica, Manuel Perez and wife Jessica, Marc Perez and wife Melinda; seven grandchildren, Christian and wife Samantha, Xavier and wife Heather, Justice Perez, Dominique and Jasmin Silva, Zachary and Aubrey Perez, and two step grandchildren Yesena Galvan and Kayla Rodriguez; three great-grandchildren Jacob, Kaitlyn, and Zander Perez; brother Maximino Pena of Kingsville, TX, and sister Amelia Silvas and husband Robert of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law Fabio Tamayo, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9 o’clock until noon on Friday, February 07, in the chapel of Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Drive in Houston. At noon a Memorial Service celebrating her life will be conducted in the chapel of Advantage Funeral Home, where Pastor G. Ruiz of Alief Christian Center, is to officiate.
