Angela Morgan

Angela Wilson Morgan was born October 3, 1959 to Dale and Frances Wilson in Houston, Texas. She left this life surrounded by her husband and children, on January 4, 2016. The fifth of nine children, Angela grew up in the Idylwood subdivision where she attended Queen of Peace Catholic School and later Mount Carmel High School. Though her years on this Earth were so limited, the influence on the many people that she affected was not. Angela was incredibly witty, intelligent, loving, and had a great sense of humor. She was fiercely independent, with a temper as fiery as her hair, and raised her four children and step children to be the same way. She never met a stranger and was quick to show any and every one that came to her love and affection. Coming from a large Sicilian family, she showed her love with food and made sure that all of her children as well as their friends were always well fed earning the nickname “Momma” from countless kids that weren’t her own. She always had great advice and wouldn’t think twice about telling you her opinion, even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She was our shoulder to cry on and the push to make us motivated to always strive for more. She is survived by her soul mate and husband Russell Dean Morgan, four children, Melissa Lauren Wilson of Houston, Stephanie Renee Nicholson and husband David Nicholson of Houston, Richard Andrew Hudson of San Augustine, TX ,and Lucian Dale Morgan of Houston. As well as her step children, Jared Martin Morgan of Winston, Oregon , Phillip Russell Morgan of Livingston, TX, Samantha Barbara Castello of Winston, Oregon and Nicholas Blake Castello of Houston. Her mother Frances LaPerna Wilson of Houston, sisters Gina Alsup, Daina Sarafin, and Jennifer Wilson, brothers Stephen Wilson, Thomas Wilson, and John Wilson. Ten grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Dale Malcolm Wilson and brothers Dale Wilson and Michael Wilson.
