Andrea R. Sabala

Andrea was married to Victor Sabala for 72 beautiful years and to their union eight children were born.

Andrea was a member of the VFW 9187 Women’s Auxiliary, LULAC Council 402, and Our Lady of St. John Catholic Church for many years and served vigilantly. Andrea also loved her family, sewing and crocheting. She will truly be missed by all that came in contact with such her.

Andrea is survived by her husband of 72 years, Victor Sabala; children and their spouses Victor Sabala Jr. and Frances, David and Mary Lou, Abel and Patricia, Michael and Leticia, Agnes Sabala Brooks and Michael , Gabriel, Ted and Yvonne; grandchildren Cathy McCory, Brian Sabala, Benjamin Sabala, Christa Sabala, Jordan Sabala, John Camarillo, Adrian Camarillo, Anthony Camarillo, Melissa Camarillo, Victoria Sabala, Rebecca Ballard, David Augustine, Abel Sabala Jr., Annette Sabala, Lenora Spencer, Danielle Sabala, Deanna Eskew, Lauren Brooks, Sarah Sabala, Katie Sabala, Alexis Sabala, Jade Sabala, Antonio Sabala, several great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson Loyal Sabala, brother L. Felix Ramos and sister-in-law Jessica.

Andrea was preceded in death by; parents Luz Ramos and Concepcion Garcia Ramos, daughter Sylvia Camarillo and siblings, Lupe Ramos, Ricardo Ramos, Angela Ramos Blanco, Marcelino Ramos and granddaughter Mayeli Sabala.

A visitation for Andrea will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A rosary service will take place on Sunday, at 7:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, September 24, 2018 from 12:00 PM at Our Lady of St. John Church, 7500 Hirsch Road, Houston, TX 77016. A committal service will occur Monday, September 24, 2018 at Brookside Memorial Park. A reception will occur Monday, September 24, 2018 from 2:30 PM to 4:31 PM at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9187, 6101 E Mt Houston Rd, Houston, TX 77050.

Serving as pallbearers are Brian Sabala, Michael Brooks, John Camarillo, David Augustine Sabala, Antonio Sabala and Felix Ramos Jr.
