Andrea Juana Esparza, age 77, of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Andrea was a woman with a lot of devotion to her family. She loved seeing her children together, especially when they would be laughing and making jokes. She also cherished her sisters whom she would talk to every day and the family dog, Polo. Her favorite color was pink and her favorite song was "Las Llaves de mi Alma" by Vicente Fernandez. She enjoyed looking at angels, flowers, and the birds.
Andrea is survived by her sons Carlos Esparza, David Esparza (Bee-Bee), Jose (Yeyo) Esparza, Rigoberto Esparza and spouse Gina Esparza, Miguel Esparza, Richard Esparza; her only daughter Liliana Fernandez and spouse Getty Fernandez; four sisters; two brothers; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Andrea was preceded in death by her spouse Jose Diego Esparza; her son Rafael Esparza; her father Alfredo Sanchez; her mother Simona Magallanes; and 5 siblings.
A visitation for Andrea will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022 followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039.
