Alfred Gorski, age 82, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015. He was born in Houston, Texas where he lived his entire life. At the age of 19, he went to serve his country honorably in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Floyd B. Parks. He retired from FMC after 37 years of service as a Maintenance Supervisor. During his life he treasured spending time with family and friends. He also loved fishing, going to the drag races, and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline D. Gorski; son, Ronald; daughters Beverly Sangster and husband Gary, Sharon Heinrichs and husband Tom; grandchildren, David Sangster, Bryan Sangster and wife Jennifer, and Emma Heinrichs; great-grandchildren, Cobi Sangster, Jessica and Gracie Sangster; sister, Jeanette Roznowski; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kitowski; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Edna Gorski; sister, Gertrude Thompson and brother, Joseph Gorski, Jr. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 501 Tidwell, Houston, Texas 77022. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
