Albin married Charlene Paskett on December 30, 1967, in Houston, Texas. He dedicated 43 years of his career as a food broker, starting with Service Brokerage, which later became Acosta Foods.
He was a committed member of the Knights of Columbus. Albin found joy in antiquing and was known for his knack for discovering treasures at garage sales.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Tarnowski of Houston, Texas; daughter Karen Love and husband Kirk of Cypress, Texas; son Kevin Tarnowski and wife Candace of Cypress, Texas; sister Dolores Behrens and husband Gary of Houston, Texas; brother Joseph Tarnowski and wife Becky of Houston, Texas; as well as grandchildren Tyler and Tara Tarnowski.
Albin was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Mary Tarnowski.
The memories of Albin Joseph Tarnowski will be cherished by his family and friends. His legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and passion for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A visitation for Albin will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St, Houston, TX 77007. A rosary will occur at 10:30 AM, with a funeral mass to begin at 11:00 AM A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Behrens, Craig Behrens, Gary Behrens, Brian Chovanec, Gene Chovanec, Joe Tarnowski, Kenneth Tarnowski and Tyler Tarnowski.
