Leona Norman

A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at New First Corinthian Baptist Church, 1114 Church Street in Houma. Burial will follow in Crescent Farm Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Norman, Sr.; sons, Joseph Norman, Jr. (Regina), Michael Norman (Diane Spencer), Gary Norman (Naisha), Bernell Norman (Charlene), Darrell Norman (Patricia) and Jeffrey Norman (Connie); daughters, Stacy Norman (Samuel Lawson), Christina N. Harris (Keelan), Raquel Williams (Shawn) and Yolanda Alvarez (Santos); twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; sisters, Rose Fusilier (the Rev. Vincent), Betty Celestin, and Ethel Mae Turner; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-great grandson, Kazmir Bogen; parents, William and Alma McGuire Ross; sister, Dorothy Mae Nevis; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Lizzie Ross; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lizzie McGuire.
