Cora Marie Perro-Ward

Cora Marie Landry Perro Ward, 77, a resident of Morgan City, LA and native of Broussard, LA, passed into glory on Saturday October 8, 2016 at the Teche Regional Medical Center at 3:45 AM following a lengthy illness..

Visitation will be observed on Thursday October 13, 2016 from 9:00 AM until homegoing celebration services beginning at 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Grove Baptist Church in Morgan City (Greenwood Area), LA with Pastor Harold Henderson, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow funeral services in the Morgan City, Cemetery in Morgan City, LA.

Memories of Cora will forever remain in the hearts of her two sons, Lucien Kevin Perro and his wife, Karen and Felix Perro, Jr. and his wife, Juanita all of Franklin, LA; two daughters, Gwendolyn Perro of Morgan City, LA and Alida Clark and her husband, Nathaneal, III of Patterson, LA; two sisters, Theresa Miller and her husband, Sylvester of New Iberia, LA and Gwendolyn Anthony of Loureauville, LA; one uncle, Rogers Davis, Sr. of Loureauville, LA; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four special friends, Virginia Colar, Lois Burgo, Edna Nickerson, and Linda Spitale and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.   

Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Landry and Florence Anthony; her husbands, Felix Perro, Sr. and Robert Ward, Sr.; her stepfather, Anthony Mitchell; one brother, Joseph Bernard and her grandmother, Rena Davis.
