She was born July 7, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late J.B. & Dorothy (Neely) Fife.
Sue was the Director of Nursing at Amarillo College where she retired. She was a faithful member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, where she was a Precept Teacher for 15 years. Sue was also active with the International Mission Board, serving in Uganda, East Africa and in Mauritius, Indian Ocean.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Fife.
Sue is survived by her spouse of 58 years, Lynn; two children Troy McGee (Clara) and Misti Shelton (Anthony); sister Donna Langley (David); and three grandchildren Dillon McGee, Karis Shelton, and Sophia Shelton.
Pallbearers are Dick Finley, Bill Lee, Bill Berry, Dillon McGee, Preston Stidman and Don Comly.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday at Hot Springs Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm with Rev. Manley Beasley Jr. & Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the IMB Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, in care of Hot Springs Baptist Church.
