Richard C. Bradley “Dick” died Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Hot Springs, AR, at the age of 90. Dick was born in Waukau, Wisconsin. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. In 1975, he married his wife Lois in Madison Wisconsin. Dick, Lois, and son Joe moved to Sheridan Wyoming for three years. In 1978, they moved to Springdale Arkansas where he worked at the VA Fayetteville Hospital as a Security Officer. After retirement, they moved to Hot Springs, AR to be close to their son and grandchildren.
Dick enjoyed living in Wyoming, spending time outdoors and trail biking in the Big Horn Mountains. Dick loved to travel. After retirement, he and Lois traveled west in the summers to volunteer in several National Parks, a favorite being Porcupine Ranger Station. Dick loved reading, bird watching and his favorite past time, playing with the grandkids.
Dick is survived by his wife Lois and stepson Joseph Kelliher; grandchildren Jacob Kelliher (Jessica), Sydney Kelliher and Blake Kelliher; great grandchildren Raven and Milo. Also surviving is his sister, Dolores Quigley (Leon), sisters-in-law Lola Bradley, Kathleen Rowley (Charles) and Donna Barger; brothers-in-law Roger Barger (Jennifer) and Edward Barger; and numerous nephew and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Job and Nellie Bradley; four brothers Burton, Clifford, James and Lawrence Bradley; brothers-in-law John, Emmett and Raymond Barger, Greg Muskat and Tim Matthews; sisters-in-law Margie Bradley, Mary Muskat, Helen Matthews, and Barbara Barger.
Visitation will be at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 9 AM, followed by the Rosary at 9:30. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM celebrated by Father Ravi Gudipalli.
The Family would like to give a special thanks to Melody Wilson for her wonderful care of Dick during his last months. Melody was a “special blessing” to both Dick and Lois.
Burial will be later in Wisconsin. Memorials may be made to The Saint John’s Catholic Church Building Fund.
